Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time Nursing Supervisor to lead our pediatric day health care team and provide high-quality care to children with complex medical needs.
Pediatric Day Health Care Centers are bright, fun places built especially for children with complex medical needs. We provide a safe, caring environment for children up to age eight to receive skilled nursing care and therapies while playing and interacting with their peers.
The Nursing Supervisor will oversee the care provided to children, educate staff and families regarding medical needs, and work with physicians on orders. They will also assist with developing treatment plans, tracking infections, and chart audits.
The ideal candidate will have two years of pediatric nursing experience, an active FL RN License, and current Healthcare Provider CPR certification. Management experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate care for children ages birth to eight years old in a developmentally appropriate center-based setting
  
• Provide direct patient care as needed
  
• Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing interventions and collaborate with physicians to improve patient outcomes
  
• Contribute to nursing education and professional development of staff
