Responsibilities
Assumes responsibility and accountability for procurement,
preparation and service of food to the patients, cafeteria, and
catered functions; for the formulation of Food and Nutritional -
Department policies procedures and the implementation of these;
insures menu planning, in-service education programs, quality
assessment programs, hiring, employee evaluations, budget planning,
production controls, quality controls, cleaning and sanitation
controls are planned, implementation and properly documented. -
Maintain liaison with other departments for optimum efficiency.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required or master's degree preferred in Food
Service Minimum
- Four years' experience as a Hospital Food Service Director.
Administration, Institutional Management, or related degree
- Must have experience in Department budgeting
- Must be able to analyze and solve problems
- Must have knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety
- Must be able to communicate effectively verbal and in
writing
- Must be able to deal effectively with the public
- Strong experience in catering. Computer experience, Kronos, US
