Summary: Seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in a surgical environment.

We are a 383-bed hospital located in Bradenton, FL, with a 13-acre campus by the Gulf Coast beaches. Our hospital is the only state-designated Level II trauma center in Manatee, Sarasota, and DeSoto Counties. We offer a range of services, including 24-hour emergency care, open-heart surgery, burn care, cancer care, joint replacement, and inpatient rehabilitation.

Job Description

As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating the care of intra-operative patients. You will assist surgeons in operative procedures, maintain and review patients' records, and administer medications in accordance with physician orders.

  Requirements:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure
    
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
    
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred
    
  • Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
    
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
