Machine Operator Position SummaryThe overall objective of this position is to maximize run time of machines and produce quality parts.Essential Accountabilities Utilize and maintain the functionality of the thermoformers, as well run all band saws when required.Increase process efficiency by ensuring parts that do not meet standard are addressed, as well as checking the cut on the saw. Also buffing and folding parts, as well as putting molds away, when time allows.Installing new molds, as required, to complete production schedule.Correctly complete daily production orders and reports. Other duties and assignments as required. QualificationsEducation/CertificationsHigh School Diploma/GED Experience1-2 years of relevant experience preferred Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesIntrapersonal Skills - Self-motivated and able to identify, examine, and resolve issues independently from others. Hold a strong regard for guidelines, procedures and integrity. Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.Technical - In-depth knowledge of thermoforming and make adjustments to maximize machine run time. Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, and maintenance. Tools include: Allen keys, wrenches, hammers, band cutting shears, horizontal band sawVerbal & Written Communication Skills - This position requires basic skills (Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
